Account & Data Deletion

Minthee adheres strictly to Google Play's Account & Data Deletion Policy. You have full control over your culinary data. You can delete your cloud account, purge your synced recipes and photos, or erase all local data directly within the app or by submitting a web deletion request.
1. Delete Your Cloud Account & Data (In-App)
If you currently have the Minthee app installed on your Android device, you can delete your cloud account immediately:
- Open Minthee on your Android device.
- Tap the Settings icon (gear) in the top-right corner.
- Scroll down to the Cloud Sync section.
- Tap Delete Cloud Account & Data (highlighted in red).
- Confirm by tapping Delete Cloud Account in the dialog.
Result: Your session token is revoked immediately, your user account record is purged from the database, and all cloud backups, recipes, photos, and pantry history are permanently deleted from Cloudflare R2 object storage.
2. Reset All Local App Data (On Device)
To completely erase all local data stored on your phone without affecting cloud backups:
- Open Minthee → Settings.
- Scroll to the bottom to Data Management & Dev Testing.
- Tap Reset App & Erase All Data.
- Confirm the prompt. All SQLite tables, local images, meal plans, and preferences will be permanently wiped.
3. Request Deletion via Web (Without Reinstalling)
If you uninstalled the app or no longer have access to your Android device, you can submit a manual deletion request:
Send an email from the Google account you linked with Minthee to:

Subject: Data Deletion Request - [Your Google Account Email]
All cloud accounts, R2 storage objects (recipes, photos, pantry history), and backup archives linked to your Google identity will be permanently deleted within 48 hours of verification.
4. Data Types Deleted & Retention Policy
